Credit default swaps widen again at the banks

  • Citigroup credit default swaps widened from $345,000 yesterday to $410,000 today.
  • Bank of America credit default swaps widened from $212,000 yesterday to $245,000 today.
  • Wells Fargo credit default swaps widened from $170,000 yesterday, to $215,000 today.
  • JP Morgan Chase credit default swaps widened from $133,000 yesterday to $170,000 today.

Yet JPM's Jamie Dimon says he wants to pay the TARP money back!

Maybe Jamie Dimon should talk to Wall Street about paying back the TARP money after he first cuts the dividend!
